The Kansas Department of Commerce administers three workforce training programs for businesses in Kansas.
For-profit companies eligible for these training programs include those involved in manufacturing, wholesale distribution, regional or national services, agriculture, mining, research and development, interstate transportation, and tourism activities primarily aimed at attracting out-of-state tourists. For service companies, 51% or more of their revenue must be generated from outside of Kansas.
